Nikhil Sharma, the man behind the successful YouTube Channel “Mumbiker Nikhil”. He started his YouTube Channel on 3rd July 2013 and till now he has uploaded over 1716 videos on his YouTube Channel and has gained over 3.88 million subscribers.
Nikhil shared his story and said, when his mother was pregnant, she was unhealthy, and the doctor said that we can either save the mother or the baby. His father said to save the mother and like all mothers, his mother said to save the baby. His father was very tense and started going to Haji Ali Dargah for prayer. God was kind to the family and both the mother and the baby were healthy and that’s how Nikhil started his life.
Nikhil used to be a very cranky kid, he used to cry almost all day, once his grandfather took him for a walk and he was crying, a local policeman thought that he has kidnaped the kid.
His father was a manager in a movie theater and later became the owner. He was very close to his grandfather and used to put bandages on his body to look cool. His grandfather passed away when he was just four years old.

He was very poor in the study, he failed in class five, and just got passed in the 8th, 10th, and 12th class. After that like all other kids around, he decided to join Hotel Management. He was pursuing hotel management from the Rizvi Institute of Studies and Research in Mumbai, but he could not complete his study and decided to drop out.
During his college days, he attended two interviews for cabin crew in Jet Airways and Qatar Airways and he got selected for both, now he had to select his study or job and he was selected to join Qatar Airways on 5th May 2007. He started working with Qatar Airways as a flight attendant and he was living in Doha.
He was in Qatar for over six years and then decided to come back to Mumbai on a long vacation after that he tried to work in Mumbai as an actor and also in his father’s business, but he could not get success in that. In one of his videos, he said that it was a very bad experience going for auditions and getting rejected, he also said that one of the TV serial makers promised him that they will work with him but later denied it.

He was supposed to go back to Qatar Airways, but just before 10 days when he was planning to go, his father passed away because of a heart attack after that he decided not to go and started taking care of his father’s business and he was doing good.
He started Motor blogging and joined a group, where they used to talk about bikes. But due to a lack of knowledge about bikes he used to talk more about himself and his lifestyle which got criticized by many people including the group members one day he left the group and started on his own.
Mumbiker Nikhil had made his first long ride from Mumbai to Ajmer, and the video got over 10,000 likes and around 10,000 subscribers. He said a Facebook comment on that video changed his life when some said that “You are the Casey Neistat of India”. He searched Casey Neistat on google and saw he is uploading the same kind of videos on YouTube which he used to record in Qatar but never saved those videos. His first successful video was his Ladakh Journey.
Nikhil got married to Shanice Shrestha, his long-time girlfriend at an event in Goa, he has made a whole video of his experience and the video was loved by his millions of subscribers. He kept his marriage a low profile within his close friends and family.

After marriage life
The Mumbai-based vlogger kept his audience in suspense about his marriage and disclosed it in the very last minutes. After marriage, they both moved to their new house in Mumbai. They have made a video of their house tour, which most of his followers were waiting to see. He brought his house in Hirandanani, Mumbai, which was his dream place to get home. They both also shared their thoughts about the interior of the house and shared the whole process in their videos.
Nikhil has recently been blessed with a baby girl when he was on a trip to UAE and Canada. There were lots of controversies around that he intensely went to Canada when his wife Shanice Shrestha was pregnant, he denied the talk and said it was coincident.
He kept his daughter’s name SKYU, and after spending around 5 months in Canada he came back to Mumbai and bought a new house for his baby girl Nikhil has shared the precious moments of his life through his vlogs.
He has also collaborated with many Indian YouTubers like Bhuvan Bam, Flying Beast, and Mostly Sane.
